The XRP ETF has received final approval from Canadian regulators, and Purpose Investments is now set to launch the first XRP exchange-traded fund on the Toronto Stock Exchange on June 18th. This XRP ETF marks a significant milestone for cryptocurrency access in Canada, offering investors regulated exposure to Ripple’s coin without the direct ownership complexities that many face. XRP ETF Launch Details and Timeline

Purpose Investments has received final prospectus receipt from the Ontario Securities Commission, which enables the Purpose XRP fund to begin trading on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, under ticker XRPP. The XRP ETF will also provide direct exposure to spot version of Ripple’s coin, the native token of the Ripple’s coin Ledger blockchain network.
Vlad Tasevski, Chief Innovation Officer at Purpose Investments, stated:
“The OSC’s granting of a receipt for the Purpose XRP ETF prospectus reinforces Canada’s global leadership in building a regulated digital asset ecosystem. We’re proud to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the regulated digital assets space through our innovative and regulated investment vehicles.”
Investment Benefits and Market Impact
The new offering’s structure eliminates security risks and also the technical barriers that are associated with direct cryptocurrency ownership. This regulated approach to XRP price prediction and investment reduces market volatility through professional custody and oversight mechanisms, right now.

As leader in both spot btc & eth ETFs, it would make *zero* sense to cede other top crypto asset ETF categories to competitors.
Related, I also fully expect BlackRock to file for index-based crypto asset ETF.
The approval also signals growing acceptance of cryptocurrency investment products, with the XRP Ledger’s cross-border payment focus attracting institutional interest. Purpose also continues expanding access to digital assets through transparent, regulated vehicles, at the time of writing.
