Ripple’s XRP token briefly fell below the $1 mark on August 11, 2026, but has since made a slight recovery. CoinGecko data shows that XRP’s price rallied by nearly 1% in the last 24 hours. Despite the recovery, XRP is still trading in the red zone in the other time frames, falling nearly 5% in the last month, and 67.6% over the last year. Let’s discuss what’s next for XRP.

Can XRP Continue Rallying After Its Recovery From Below $1, Or Will It Fall Again?

XRP has substantial support at the $1 price level. The asset has seen a rebound from around $1-$1.4 on numerous occasions in the last few months. On the other hand, XRP has faced some resistance at the $1.14 price level. There is a chance that we will see a similar pattern once again. XRP could climb to $1.14 before facing a rejection or entering a sideways trajectory.
Investors are likely waiting on the July 2026 US inflation data due today before taking any positions. If inflation numbers cool down, there is a chance that the crypto market will see increased inflows as lower inflation may prompt the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates. However, there is a chance that inflation will increase due to the oil price spike last month due to the closure of the Strait Of Hormuz. Higher inflation may lead to XRP facing another correction or its rally being cut short.

Either way, it is unlikely for XRP to fall below the $1 mark this cycle. The asset is unlikely to make major price movements without Bitcoin (BTC) seeing some action. BTC is the market leader and XRP is unlikely to turn bullish without BTC seeing an upswing first. The market is still far from recovered and we may not see a full blown bull market in 2026.
