In this wake, UBS has come up with a fresh gold price forecast, adding how the current gold dip is temporary and that the asset may reclaim $4200 in its next leg up.

UBS has once again shared a renewed price forecast for gold, adding how the asset is on path to claim $4200. The firm stated how the current price dip in the metal domain is temporary and that gold may claim its former glory sooner rather than later.

“The much-anticipated correction has taken a breather,” UBS said in a research note on Monday. “Outside technical factors, we see no fundamental reason for the sell-off.” As reported by Kitco News

Moreover, UBS shared how gold can technically scale to sit at $4700 high if all factors continue to water its growth. The banking giant cited the central bank’s gold buying spree as a major contributor to gold’s soaring popularity.

“Central bank purchases of 634 metric tons this year have been slower than last year’s pace but are picking up in Q4, in line with our forecast of 900–950 metric tons for 2025,” they wrote.

Moreover, UBS believes gold may continue to gain traction as a valuable asset in the near future.

“While the scale and speed of the gold rally may mean volatility could pick up from here, we maintain the view that gold is a valuable component of a resilient investment strategy,” he wrote.

Gold’s Next Target: Short Term

According to Rashad Hajiyev, a notable financial expert, gold and silver both are eyeing new price marks in the near future.
