In what could be a major development for the industry’s progression, Nvidia (NVDA) has announced a ‘strategic partnership’ to build AI factories in Saudi Arabia. Indeed, the AI chipmaker announced the landmark agreement with Humain, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.

The move comes after Riyadh just inked a $600 billion strategic partnership with the United States on Tuesday. US President Donald Trump made the first major visit of his second term to the country as the new memorandum was unveiled. Subsequently, Saudi Arabia has been at the center of a second groundbreaking announcement, this time set to impact the tech sector.

Nvidia & Saudi Arabia’s ‘Humain’ Unveil New Strategic Partnership

In recent years, the surge in AI technology demand has been undeniable, with incredible growth and development following closely. Indeed, Nvidia (NVDA) is a company that has sat squarely at the center of that growth. In 2024, its importance was clearly seen in its 174% stock surge that dominated Wall Street.

Its efforts to build artificial intelligence infrastructure have not ceased in 2025. Specifically, Nvidia has announced a new strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia’s subsidiary Humain to build AI factories in the country. According to a press release, the two companies will cooperate to “establish Saudi Arabia as a global leader in AI, GPU cloud computing, and digital transformation” to drive global innovation.

Humai is committed to building 500-megawatt-powered factories in the country, the press release notes. Moreover, those will be powered by Nvidia’s GPUs over the next five years. Within the first phase, they will deploy 18,000 Nvidia GB300 Grace Blackwell AI supercomputer chips.

“AI , like electricity and the internet, is essential infrastructure for every nation,” Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said. “Together with Humain, we are building AI infrastructure for the people and companies in Saudi Arabia to realize the bold vision for the kingdom.” Specifically, the partnership is key to helping the digital leadership goals of the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 come to fruition
