Microsoft Stock Price Prediction: JP Morgan’s Target For MSFT

Leading global investment banking giant JP Morgan has hiked its price target for Microsoft stock. Samik Chatterjee, the Senior Equity Research Analyst and Managing Director JP Morgan, maintained his buy rating on MSFT with a price upgrade. The analyst wrote in a note to clients on Thursday (August 13, 2026), predicting that the software titan can reach a target of $625 next. He urged institutional clients to begin accumulating the asset, claiming that it would break the $500 and $600 wall.
The JP Morgan analyst hiked Microsoft stock’s price target from $550 to $625. That’s an increase of $75, signalling bullishness on the software-based equity. MSFT opened Friday’s bell at $496, and this indicates a profit of $129 per share if the price prediction reaches the target. It is also an uptick and return on investment (ROI) of approximately 26% from its current price. Therefore, an investment of $1,000 could turn into $1,260 if the forecast turns out to be accurate.
JP Morgan’s Samik Chatterjee is a five-star-rated analyst taking the sixth spot among the 4,646 financial pundits. He boasts a success rate of 76.5%, and investors have earned an average return of 56.2% through his predictions.
