Now, after the reelection of the 45th president, the X (formerly Twitter) owner is poised to run his inaugural Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Specifically, the new commission is looking to cut federal spending by a remarkable $2 trillion.

Musk Looking to Buy $100M Palm Beach Property Near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago
Donald Trump’s historic 2024 presidential election has been a game-changer in a myriad of ways. With his second term nearing, the US stock market entered a euphoric state, reaching record highs, while Bitcoin surged to a six-figure price for the first time in its history.
One of the biggest reasons for his reelection was the presence of Elon Musk. Indeed, the Tesla and SpaceX founder was critical on the campaign trail and was given a spot heading a new commission by the 47th president. Now, the two may be getting even closer with the election victory in hand.

According to reports, Elon Musk is looking to buy a $100 million property near Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. The billionaire has reportedly been spending increasing time in the Palm Beach area. Most recently, he enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at the Trump house.
The property in question is reported to be just a seven-minute drive from Mar-a-Lago. Moreover, it was previously owned by Ardell tycoon Sydell Miller. In 2019, the late Miller had purchased the two apartment spaces for over $42 million. If the deal goes through, it could signal increased cooperation between both Trump and Musk beyond the DOGE commission.
