The crypto exchange giant Coinbase says it’s preparing to suspend trading for five altcoins on its platform.

In a new update on X, the exchange says Clover Finance (CLV), EOS (EOS), League of Kingdoms Arena (LOKA), Muse Dao (MUSE), and Wrapped Centrifuge (WCFG) will be suspended on November 26th at around 2:00pm EST.

“We regularly monitor the assets on our exchange to ensure they meet our listing standards…

Trading will be suspended on http://Coinbase.com (Simple and Advanced Trade), Coinbase Exchange, and Coinbase Prime.

We have moved our order books for these assets to limit-only mode. Limit orders can be placed and canceled, and matches may occur.”

Coinbase has not specified exactly why the coins are being effectively delisted.

In its 2024 Listing Prioritization Process & Standards report, Coinbase says it may remove support for an altcoin if it no longer meets one of several factors:

• Project no longer meets our legal, compliance and/or technical security standard

• Project is discontinued or deprioritized, with no visible product development or commitment from the project team

• Failure to comply with listing or other agreements with Coinbase

• Issuer or project team engages in operations which, in the opinion of Coinbase, are contrary to public interest

• Project’s responsiveness to ongoing due diligence request

• Trading volume and liquidity of markets on the Exchange
